Who’s that girl? Hi! I’m Anaële, a french designer based between Paris and Brussels.
Ok cool, what else?I’m a multidisciplinary graphic designer with 7+ years shaping brands, publications, and visual systems. I’ve collaborated with agencies like Grey New York, Apparent, Sydney, and studios like The Collected Works and Studio Paradise.
I hold an MFA in Graphic Design and Entrepreneurship from SVA, NYC, creating unapologetically bold work for audacious people.
And...? Design shapes everything I do. Whether it’s feeding my passion for interior design, thrifting fabrics for my upcycled clothing brand Kiki Bruxelles, or building a full brand identity, I’m always designing something—bringing a global vision to life.
How does the magic happen? Thought process
Design, for me, is less a straight line and more a conversation—between an idea, a context, and the people it’s meant for.
It usually starts with a feeling or a question. I try to understand what’s really at stake: not just the brief, but the intention behind it. Who is this for? What should they feel, notice, remember?
Then I look outward. References, images, films, conversations—anything that helps me build a visual and emotional landscape. Research isn’t just functional, it’s also intuitive. It feeds the tone.
From there, I start exploring. Sketching, testing, sometimes going in the wrong direction on purpose just to see what happens. This phase is messy, but it’s where the project finds its voice.
At some point, things begin to click. I choose a direction and shape it more precisely—composition, rhythm, details. I try to keep a balance between clarity and surprise.
Feedback is part of the process, not a correction. It helps me step back, see what resonates and what doesn’t, and refine the work without losing its core idea.
In the end, I’m looking for something that feels both obvious and unexpected—simple, but with depth. Something that connects.
And voilà!
